     Devorguilla (of Galloway) was born circa 1218 of Galloway, Wigtownshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Lord Alan (of Galloway) and Margaret Huntingdon.1 Devorguilla (of Galloway) married John Balliol, son of Hugh De Baliol and Cecily de la Fontaine, in 1233 of Galloway, Wigtownshire, Scotland.2,1 Devorguilla (of Galloway) died on 28 January 1289/90 in Kemston, Bedfordshire, England.2 She was buried in New Abbey, Galloway, Wigtownshire, Scotland.2
     Her married name was Mrs. De Baliol.2 Devorguilla (of Galloway) was also known as Dervorgilla De Galloway.2 Her married name was Mrs. Balliol.1
