     Duke Frances V (of Modena) was born on 1 June 1819 in Modena, Italy.¹ He was the son of Archduke Francis IV (of Austria) and Maria Beatrice Vittoria Giuseppina di Savoia.¹ Duke Frances V (of Modena) married Princess Adelgunde (of Bavaria), daughter of King Ludwig I (of Bavaria) and Princess Therese (of Saxe-Hildburghausen), on 30 March 1842 in Munich.² Duke Frances V (of Modena) died on 20 November 1875 in Vienna at age 56.²
