     King James I "the Conqueror" was born on 1 February 1207 in Montpellier, , France.1 He was the son of King Pedro II (of Aragon) and Marie de Pontpellier.1 King James I "the Conqueror" married Princess Yolande, daughter of King Andrew II (of Hungary) and Queen Yolande de Courtenay, on 8 September 1235.1 King James I "the Conqueror" died on 25 July 1276 in Valencia, , Spain, at age 69.1 He was buried in , Cabret.1
     King James I "the Conqueror" was titled King of Aragon (James I).1 He became King of Aragon.1
